The idea of antifragility is based on the concept of resilience. Resilience is the ability to withstand and recover from shocks, stresses, and disturbances. Antifragile is a term coined by Nassim Taleb in his book “Antifragile”. It means that a system should not be fragile or vulnerable to shocks, but instead it should be able to benefit from them and grow stronger.
The best way for an organisation to become antifragile is by building in redundancy and robustness into their systems. They need to have redundancies in place for every component of their organisation so that if one component fails, it does not bring down the entire system with it.
